On Friday 13th May 2022, The Winchester Beacon went along to Trinity Winchester’s Big Sleep Out to share information about our partnership work to support people experiencing homelessness.

The annual event raises money for Trinity Winchester by encouraging members of the public to sleep in the Cathedral grounds. Supporters were excited to be back for the night having had to take part in the event from home during the pandemic.

During the evening, we invited participants to light a way out of homelessness with us by making lanterns to display by their cardboard camps.  Lots of fun was had with glue and glitter and some fantastic lanterns were produced!
