High Hopes Sunflowers To Help Ukraine

Residents at The Winchester Beacon are asking for your support as they try to raise funds to help people in Ukraine.

Whilst our residents are facing their own challenges and don’t have a place of their own to call home, they appreciate how fortunate they are to be safe and away from the atrocities of the war.

Keen to find a way to help and give to those more in need than themselves, residents have been busy planting sunflower seeds donated by Hillier’s Garden Centre to sell and raise funds. They have called the project ‘High Hopes’ and would like to invite you to pass by The Winchester Beacon and make a cash donation in return for a sunflower.

Your donation will be given to support the people of Ukraine whilst you watch with hope as your sunflower grows.
