Nightshelter opens doors to public for annual Open Day

Have you ever wondered what life is like inside a nightshelter? Would you like to find out more about the support available for homeless people in Winchester?

To link in with the national initiative Homeless Sunday 2018, we're opening our doors to the public to give people the chance to learn about our vital work with those experiencing homelessness in Hampshire.

When: Saturday, January 27th, 2018

Time: 11am - 3pm

Location: Winchester Churches Nightshelter, 20b Jewry Street, Winchester, SO23 8RZ

Come and meet staff, residents and volunteers and see for yourself what it's really like to stay at the Nightshelter and how our support services help hundreds of people escape homelessness each year.

Our residents will also be showcasing their cookery skills with a wide range of tasty cakes and savoury snacks, baked during Nightshelter cookery workshops, that will be available free of charge on the day at our pop-up cafe.

Come along and have your perceptions of homelessness challenged.

No need to book - just drop in.
